Since going on sale last November, the redesigned 2014 Nissan Rogue has been awarded by the likes of AutoTrader.com, Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com and even Kiplinger's Personal Finance. Ultimately, though, it is the customer's opinion that matters most. Owners of the 2014 Rogue recently gave their ride a resounding thumbs-up, elevating the model to the top of the Mid-Size Crossover SUV segment in the 2014 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.

Surveying more than 92,000 owners of new 2014 models, AutoPacific determined its 2014 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards by analyzing 50 different vehicle categories as they pertain to importance in the buying decision and satisfaction after purchase. Criteria ranged from performance and fuel economy to convenience and interior comfort. With its owners choosing reliability, handling, exterior styling and "feeling safe while driving" as its top satisfying attributes, the Nissan Rogue stole segment honors away from last year's winner, the Mazda CX-5.

"It's rare to find a vehicle that can fully engage owners with its style and handling while also appealing to their practical sides with safety and versatility, but the new Nissan Rogue pulls it off," said Jeff Rosen, general manager of Rosen Nissan Milwaukee, a Wisconsin Nissan dealer. "You won't find another crossover SUV on the market that offers such a nimble ride while providing the option of seven-passenger seating."

Equipped with standard Active Ride Control, Active Trace Control and Active Engine Braking, the 2014 Nissan Rogue can subtly apply the brakes and adjust engine torque to stabilize the ride on bumpy roads, enhance cornering and improve driver control. Those communicative driving dynamics are boosted further by a drag coefficient of just 0.33 over the Rogue's sleekly styled exterior. When it comes to protecting passengers, the 2014 Rogue has earned a Top Safety Pick+ designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it features optional Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Land Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection.
