Crevier MINI is proud to announce that MINI USA is going to be holding MINI Takes The States, a rally that is designed to help boost morale, and prove MINI Coopers to be the great cars that they are. Along with help from MINI, the United States Paralympic Team has agreed to take part in the rally as participants. A portion of all the proceeds of the rally will go to the Paralympic Movement – an organization that helps support the 2012 Paralympic Games, along with the participants of the games themselves.
It's a star-studded event, with Para-Triathlete Michael Johnston as a representative for the United States Olympics Committee presiding over the entire event. BMW and MINI are both very proud to be a part of this excellent charity party, and it's very clear that they take the matter very seriously. As serious as the charity that MTTS is going to be supporting, it's still going to be a fun time for all the people who are involved in the rally.
It is quite easy to see why many people are going to be emotional during the MINI Takes The States Rally. Everyone knows someone who has had to overcome a disability, and many of the stories that people will hear that day will be quite inspiring. The event is going to be of particular importance to Johnston, who is a below the knee amputee.
MINI USA will be donating a minimum of $10,000 towards the US Paralympic Team. This donation money will be used for the current entrants for the 2012 Paralympic games, along with the hopefuls who will be training for the 2016 Paralympics. Every time that MINI Takes The States launches, a charitable partner is chosen to receive a portion of the proceeds. Why? Because it's the MINI Cooper way. And, since this is expected to be the biggest rally yet, the Paralympic Movement can expect a very large donation.
MINI Takes The States is a very big deal, and it isn't only because it's a charity rally. The sheer size of the rally is breathtaking. MINI Takes The States is the largest rally that the brand has, and it's also one of the most popular when it comes to MINI fans. The rally will be a cross-country tour that will begin on the Fourth of July, and end on the 15th. Anyone is free to enter the rally, and those who do can rest assured that MINI Cooper fans across the country will be wishing them the very best of luck.
