Westchester Table Tennis Center, in Pleasantville, will host the North America Cup, the North American table tennis championship, on Sat./Sun., April 20-21. Overseen by the International Table Tennis Federation and the USATT, the tournament will feature eight elite players from the U.S. — four men and four women — against their counterparts from Canada and Bermuda. The event is open to the public. The competitors will include U.S. Olympians Ariel Hsing, Lily Zhang, and Timothy Wang, and Canada’s Pierre-Luc Theriault, the reigning North American men’s champion. The winners will receive $7,500 in cash prizes and entry to World Cup events.

Schedule: Round robin matches will be held on Saturday from 10 am - 8 pm. Playoff matches will be
held on Sunday from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Awards will be presented at approximately 5:00.
Tickets: Sold at the door. $10 on Saturday, $15 on Sunday.
Facility: The Westchester Table Tennis Center is the largest table tennis facility in the U.S. It is open 7 days a week, with daily programs for kids and adults. Owned by Will Shortz, crossword editor of the New York Times, and managed by Robert Roberts, three-time table tennis champion of the Caribbean.
