Site founder and chief editor Charmane Raye of wordsandpoetry.net in Johnson, Vermont, U.S.A. announces that the book of poetry, "From Sunrise to the Universe," a 64-page collection of some of the best poetic works around the world, has been published by Blurb.com and is ready to be shared with the world in support of funding medical research by the St. Jude's Children's Hospital to fight life-threatening childhood illnesses.

The project began in 2009 with Ms. Raye asking poets that joined her site to also join her in collecting their works to include in a book, and all poets willingly donated some of their poems to be included in the book created for this special cause. The collection took four years of planning and with the donation of cover images by Dreamstime.com, and many hours of her own time, Ms. Raye finished the book of poems on August 31st, 2013. It is available in softcover, hardcover and pdf.

A poet herself, Ms. Raye started the site originally to give budding poets exposure and an opportunity to build confidence in sharing their poems with the world.
