The new Ford Fusion has already earned a wave of industry praise for its aggressive exterior and range of responsive-yet-efficient engines, but aftermarket tuners are now getting their chance to up the ante at the upcoming SEMA Show. Ford recently revealed two customized versions of its midsize sedan that are slated for the annual event in Las Vegas, which runs from Nov. 5 to Nov. 8 this year.

Modified by Full-Race Motorsports, a 2014 Ford Fusion SE receives a lower, more athletic stance thanks to a custom body kit, while a BorgWarner turbocharger paired with a cat-back exhaust and a cold air intake increases output to 400 horsepower. The second SEMA model is based on the top-trim 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium, but DSO Eyewear has given the car a fresh identity with a tuxedo-black paintjob and gold accents from BASF. Complementing that sleek look are gold-finished 21-inch Niche Road Wheels, while performance is boosted with a Banks Power straight-shot water-methanol injection system.

"The SEMA Fusion models highlight what's possible in the aftermarket when you start with a car that is already boldly styled and highly engaging in production form," said Steve Nilsson, general manager of Glenwood Springs Ford, a Colorado Ford dealer near Grand Junction. "The Ford Fusion Titanium available at dealerships not only offers an excellent mix of performance, efficiency and amenities, but it's also capable of navigating snowy mountain passes with ease as winter arrives early in Colorado."

Housing a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, the 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium produces 240 horsepower and 231 pound-feet of torque while returning up to 33 mpg on the highway. For improved all-conditions capability, buyers can opt for an intelligent all-wheel-drive system that only sacrifices two miles per gallon on the highway. Inside the cabin, drivers are sheltered from the weather outside with luxurious standard features like heated leather sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting.
