Price LeBlanc Nissan Offers New Warranty for NV Commercial-Van Line

Nissan's NV commercial vans have only been on the market for three years, but the automaker recently placed a big vote of confidence in their longevity, introducing a segment-first 100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. Available to Louisiana business owners at Price LeBlanc Nissan, the new warranty covers the 2014 Nissan NV Cargo Van, NV Passenger Van and NV200 Compact Cargo, and it retroactively applies to current owners as well.

Increasing coverage from the former basic limited warranty of three years/36,000 miles, Nissan's latest commercial van warranty runs for either 100,000 miles or five years, whichever comes first. Additionally, the powertrain limited warranty for Nissan NV models has been extended from five years/60,000 miles to five years/100,000 miles. Nissan hopes these changes will continue to boost the popularity of its commercial vehicles, which have sold more than 10,700 units in the United States through May of 2014, an 88 percent increase year-over-year.

Returning a best-in-class 24 mpg in the city, the 2014 NV200 Compact Cargo has a smaller footprint for urban maneuverability, yet it can transport up to 122.7 cubic feet of cargo.
