When it first hit the market in 2012, the Cadillac ATS was hailed by critics as a legitimate American competitor to German luxury sport sedans like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, eventually earning the title of 2013 North American Car of the Year. Designed in both coupe and sedan form, Cadillac's new high-performance model also builds on the ATS' revered ride and handling with a series of chassis and suspension upgrades that boost structural rigidity by 25 percent and increase roll stiffness by 50 percent.
