Author Connie Fuller Redefines 'Diva' In Her New Book

Every since I was a teenager, I always wanted a work from home job. I was the type of teen that didn't want to work for anyone.

So you think you’re a diva. Or perhaps you think you know a few. But chances are, you’re wrong.

In her new book, Being A Diva (Hustler Edition), author Connie Fuller sets the record straight. At the outset, Fuller explains that there are actually two types of divas. The first is the type everyone knows – the type who has the purse, the shoes and the attitude to match. The second type of diva is simply a “hustler.”

Fuller shares her own story to prove her point, and holds little back in this candid account of her own life. As a youngster, she says, she always “wanted more than the typical child.” As a teenager, she started doing hair and working at McDonald's to get what she wanted. As a young woman, she endured tough times but never gave up.

Instead, she put her entrepreneurial spirit to the test by starting her own maid service, making money on various Internet sites, starting a tax service and becoming a “candy lady.”

In addition to sharing her own story, Fuller offers advice and tips for aspiring “divas.”

“Find your niche, use it and grow it into something of which you always dreamed,” she says.
