Germany: Pakistan is directly affected by the Afghan crisis and we will continue to monitor the border - asumetech

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said after today’s talks in Islamabad that Pakistan is directly affected by the crisis in Afghanistan, stressing that her country will continue to support the region, while German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the number of displaced from Afghanistan is between 10-15,000 people.
Maas added, in statements published by the German foreign ministry, that his country will monitor and implement projects, including border control, in addition to its financial commitments.
