Like the reader who has cannabis smokers next door, I have a woman renting a terraced house next door to me who smokes cigarettes constantly and does not open windows. The stale smoke smell comes through to my home. I have replaced the floors and tried to seal every gap, but it still smells. I suspect that was why the previous owners were keen to sell. I have asked her to open windows when she smokes, but she doesn’t. As it is not marijuana she smokes but regular cigarettes, is there anything I can do?
