Manganese X Energy Corp joins trade organization to advance battery metals industry and supply chain in Canada - Proactive Investors USA

Manganese X Energy Corp told investors it has become a member of a newly-formed trade organization the Battery Metals Association of Canada (BMAC), which is dedicated to building a robust battery metals industry in Canada and a domestic supply chain.

The company is advancing its Battery Hill project in New Brunswick towards production and is working on a preliminary economic assessment (PEA). The goal is to supply value-added materials to the lithium-ion battery and other energy industries.

The five battery minerals critical for lithium-ion batteries are cobalt, graphite, lithium, manganese and nickel, all of which are found in Canada but many are not produced.

"As a supplier of battery metals and components, Canada's advantages include geological richness, location, an established mining industry and a clean electrical grid," BMAC has said.

Martin Kepman, CEO of Manganese X, said: "We believe that in the upcoming years there will be a huge demand for a Canadian and US supply chain and especially for manganese which is an integral and growing mineral within the EV battery chemistry. We are pleased to have joined the BMAC and appreciate all their efforts to advance this situation."
