Dome Audio may be writing the next chapter in audio headphone technology. This newbie company, by all indications, appears to be on the verge of pushing the boundaries of how headphones are experienced with a promising new form of wearable tech.
Their triple-patented D4 Headphones offer a 4D, Open-Ear, Surreal-Sound listening experience via their proprietary quad-bone-conduction (tactile speakers) system. Until now, headphone users have never had the option, much less the experience of full-fidelity audio while having their ears exposed to ambient sounds.
Moreover, this seamless headphone experience comes with interchangeable noise-isolation Dome Covers, allowing users to switch to a "private listening" mode whenever they desire to block out ambient sounds.
But, suppose all of these disruptive features, like 4D Fidelity, Bluetooth 5.2, Surreal-Sound, bone conduction tactile speakers, and noise isolation Dome Covers, were not enough.
Well, in that case, users will have the capability to customize their entire audio experience through Dome's proprietary app.
Dome's problem-solution-centered approach has improved upon several issues posed by traditional "in, on, or over the head" headphones. Having the option of open-ear listening will invariably help users to be more situationally aware and avoid being struck by moving objects in busy areas, for example. Open-ear headphones also significantly reduce any chance of inner ear infections, outer ear discomfort, or social detachment. Dome Audio's innovative and thoughtful approach to audio technology appears to resonate with music lovers far and wide.
Meet the Founders
Ben White is the founder, CEO, and IP developer of Dome Audio Inc. He has over twenty years of experience in the music industry as a producer, songwriter, musician, engineer, and record executive. He has multiple patents in technology and a BA in metaphysical science. His career in Neuro/Biofeedback technology dates to the late 1990s. In 2002, he became a Certified Neurofeedback Associate when he received board accreditation from The National Registry of Neurofeedback Providers. Ben was designated Master Sensory Integration Specialist by The Institute of Neuro Learning in 2004. He was a finalist for the Charles B. Benenson Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2005.
Tim Wright, Chief Strategy Officer, began his journey to success as a student-athlete at Rutgers University, where he studied sociology and earned high honors. After college, he signed to the NFL, eventually winning Super Bowl 49 with the New England Patriots. During and after his NFL career, Tim gained invaluable insights. As an entrepreneur and business enthusiast, he learned to execute strategies to optimize consumer engagement and spur market growth through innovation.
Creating Success
Tim claims that creating success is all about patience and passion. He explains, "Evolution in business, especially a start-up, is a marathon, not a sprint. Things take longer to happen than you think they will, but then when they happen, they happen faster than you could imagine." Any entrepreneurial journey is sure to have its ups and downs, but according to Tim, "Identifying what you love and have a passion for it will drive you through the inevitable periods of adversity. Passion will serve you well along your journey until you achieve your goal. It's important to stay poised and rooted through the highs and lows of that journey because both are bound to occur."
Ben can't stress enough the importance of building the right team. "An effective team is a synergistic team," Ben explains. "You need to build a team of individuals who can see the vision and value of being one piece of a complex and complete puzzle. This symbiotic relationship is the foundation that maintains a group's integrity, reliability, and drives for collective success."
Insights for New Entrepreneurs
For new entrepreneurs looking for concrete insight, Ben offers three keys to success in contemporary business:
- Cultivate an understanding of consumer psychology and effective business practices.
- Approach every new opportunity with an eye for strategic and creative solutions.
- Always stay up to date on social behavior and societal trends.
These tips can help you and your team to deliver productive and successful outcomes. Tim reminds us, "Success is not owned, it's rented, and rent is due every day."
Dome's Vision for the Future of Headphone Technology
As for the audio industry's future, Ben and Tim believe that many audio tech companies will shift towards the open-ear technology they've been spearheading. They predict we'll see more derivative open-ear and bone-conduction devices hit the market as Dome's triple-patented headphone technology catches on. Still, Dome will always strive to be visionary. Their business was built on the cutting edge of audio technology and remains committed to their role as innovation leaders in the audio industry.
