SHANGHAI, Nov 18 (China Economic Net) - The second meeting of the First Council Board of "Belt and Road" Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance (BRMDIA) was convened on Wednesday in the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST) by the joint efforts of 109 institutions from 20 countries and regions through online and on-venue modes, where Dr Muhammad Shahbaz President of China Pakistan Medical Association from Pakistan has been awarded a certificate of excellence for his great contributions to the Health Corridor project.
The council meeting was held to review the one-year work and have an outlook for the plan of 2022. Three alliance member units won the Special Contribution Award of 2020-2021 for their outstanding performance. Dr Muhammad Shahbaz President of China Pakistan Medical Association from Pakistan has actively promoted China-Pakistan cooperation in the medical field and was top on the list.
Talking to China Economic Net, Dr Muhammad Shahbaz said that as Chairman of China Pakistan Health Corridor & President of China Pakistan Medical Association he feels immense pleasure to address the council board as a new member of the Belt & Road Medical Device Innovation Alliance.
"I am honoured to be able to come to USST for this wonderful event and I can’t help admiring the dynamic and prospective Alliance, which has created so many opportunities for our future cooperation", he added.
