To celebrate the 76th Anniversary of the United Nations, the Global Elite Online Video Summit themed promoting the 17 SDGs was held earlier this month, co-hosted by the UCT Int’l Development Inc., a non-governmental organization in special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council, and the Metaverse Blockchain Association.
Diplomats, government officials, artists and enthusiastic participants from the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and other parts of the world attended this networking event.
Chairman Zeus Ying, founder of the Metaverse Blockchain Association, introduced the participants to blockchain technology and the Metaverse Blockchain Association's contribution to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Metaverse is the portmanteau of meta and universe and it aims at addressing technological limitations as well as expanding the use of metaverse spaces to all industries. Therefore, the purpose of the Association is to promote the ecological circle of the global metaverse, so that blockchain technology can be developed in an orderly, healthy, and efficient way. It will lead mankind to the new epoch.
Speeches on the significance, past achievements and latest developments regarding the 17 SDGs were made by NJ Assemblyman Gordon Johnson, Former Mount Vernon Mayor Ernie Davis, China Southeast European Business Association President Mario Rendulić, Honorary Chairman of the Metaverse Blockchain Association Caesar Nie, and World Chinese Business Association President Nonghe Li. These were followed by speeches on the implementation of the 17 SDGs by New York musician Omar Haddad, Mother and Child Foundation Founder Sabita Rani Sutar, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Officials Ministry of Health Sima Karetnaya, former Procurement Specialist delegate with the U.S. Mission to the U.N. Gabriel Tito Avila, President of Future InfoSec, Stan Borinski Jr. and angel investor Chen Hao.
Finally, President Yi Ling Li of the UCT expressed her thanks for each elite who had been involved in the Global Elite Online Video Summit in order to promote the progress of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, hopes that everyone will be more actively involved in the publicity activities, so that more and more people will know the mission and responsibility of the 17 SDGs and work together for the realization of SDGs at an earlier date.
The conference ended with the "Peace Song" produced by Omar Haddad and the slogan "We Love Peace" and "Happy Birthday to the United Nations" shouted by the participants.
