ABSTRACT
Lower imports last month meant that China's total imports of manganese ore posted an on-year fall of 2.1% over January-November, as against the on-year growth of 0.7% for the first ten months of this year, according to the latest detailed data released by China's General Administration of Customs.
For the first 11 months, China imported 27.89 million tonnes of manganese ore, lower by 610,690 tonnes on year. For November alone, the import volume dropped by 327,545 tonnes or 12.7% on month to 2.25 million tonnes, the Customs data showed.
