At the age of just 19, Christian Spicer started his entrepreneurial journey which exposed him to the vibrant real estate industry. As a resident of San Diego, he witnessed first-hand the speedy architectural and commercial growth of the City’s housing market over the years. Professionally, his sojourn in this industry started in 2008 when he worked as a personnel Manager at Ponderosa Landscape. Over the following 10 years, he continued to work in the real estate sector in various capacities, including personnel management, asset management, warehousing, and property management, amongst others which motivated him to acquire a real estate sales license to take advantage of the investment opportunities.
However, the inspiration for SDRE Homebuyers was birthed after he started profitably flipping houses and progressed to adding about 1 to 2 units to his properties. He then decided to establish his company in 2020 to increase the scale of his business.
Christian’s vision for SDRE Homebuyers entails fully maximizing the return on investment for investors by constructing additional housing units in desirable locations and enabling more individuals to rent houses at an affordable rate. The real estate investment company raises homes' lease and purchase values in the market by improving them with cutting-edge design and infrastructure to enable comfortable living spaces and get the highest rate of return.
The firm is also expanding its service capacity by collaborating with a housing permit specialist who deals with over 100 home permits yearly, to help speed up the administrative process for SDRE Homebuyers clients. Currently, his diverse team of housing professionals has the capacity to shorten the duration it takes from the pre-developmental stage to building and eventually renting or selling property to about 18 months.
