Second Chance To Life, the unique coaching program designed to help individuals elevate their skills through personalized guidance and insider strategies, is expanding its services with all-new re-entry courses for inmates. These new services will help those incarcerated prepare for the outside world and become leaders within their community.
Second Chance To Life was founded in 2020 by José Badillo. At the age of 15, he was facing 15 years to life, and over the years has spent nine years incarcerated. However, since then he has transformed his life, overcoming the inner city challenges that many young San Jose residents are facing to become an inspiration.
His powerful story of adversity was featured on ABC Nightline and PBS Frontline with a follow-up documentary due for production this year and releasing in 2025. José is dedicated to helping others believe in their own second chance through his powerful coaching courses.
Now, Second Chance To Life is expanding its offering even further with its re-entry courses. This new coaching program is designed for inmates looking for a better life on the outside, providing them with the skills and tools needed for self-development, allowing them to become leaders in their own community and even business owners like José.
Speaking on the launch of the new course, José Badillo added, “I know firsthand how tough it can be for the local Hispanic and Latino communities to overcome the odds and for many it feels like they will never get a second chance in life. Second Chance To Life is here to give everyone the option to do just that, supporting them to achieve their desires and goals as well as build a stronger community for everyone.”
