Lawsorio Consulting, a Toronto-based visa consultancy firm, is celebrating its second anniversary. This milestone reflects both steady growth and a deep commitment to helping clients navigate complex U.S. visa processes with confidence and care.
Founded by Steven Lawson, the firm has evolved from a small consultancy into a trusted partner for entrepreneurs and professionals seeking to establish their businesses or careers across borders. Over the past two years, Lawson has focused on a hands-on, personal approach, meeting every client himself to guide them through each step of the application process.
“When I started Lawsorio Consulting, I wanted to create something different, something personal,” Lawson said. “Every client deserves direct support, not to be handed off to a team they have never met. That personal connection is what drives our success.”

The milestone comes at a time when the firm’s impact is becoming more visible. The company began its journey by filing its first visa applications during its launch year, a process that can take many months before final decisions are made. Now, two years later, those early efforts are yielding positive results. According to Lawson, every visa application handled by the firm has been successful, a record that reflects both preparation and client dedication.
“In our first year, it was all about building the foundation,” Lawson said. “Now, we are seeing the results of clients receiving their visas and moving forward with their plans. It is incredibly rewarding.”
While most of Lawsorio Consulting’s clients come from Canada, the firm has recently expanded its reach to new markets. Lawson noted that his first visa from outside Canada was issued in Mexico earlier this year, an encouraging sign of international growth. “We are seeing more interest from clients in different countries, and that’s a direction I’m excited to explore further,” he said.
Lawsorio Consulting’s services have also broadened as the firm gains experience with additional visa categories. Beyond the E-1 and E-2 visas the firm initially started with, Lawson has begun working with TN, EB-1, EB-2, National Interest Waiver (NIW), and O-1 visas. These new areas, he explained, align naturally with his existing client base. “I have been collaborating with experienced colleagues who specialize in these visas, which helps us provide more complete support,” Lawson said.
Looking ahead, Lawson plans to continue building Lawsorio Consulting for sustainable growth while exploring opportunities in teaching and public speaking. As a graduate of the law program and former U.S. government professional, he recently reconnected with the same university he graduated from to discuss potential classroom collaborations and guest lectures.
“Teaching has always been my passion,” Lawson said. “Sharing knowledge about immigration law and real-world processes is just as important as practicing it. I want to help others understand how to approach these systems effectively.”
As Lawsorio Consulting enters its third year, Lawson remains focused on balancing expansion with the personal service that has defined his firm’s approach. “The past two years have shown what’s possible when you stay close to your clients,” he said. “That will always be at the center of how we move forward.”
