Tailored Mechanical, a residential and commercial HVAC provider serving Southern Arizona since 2013, has announced a company name and brand change to Plunkett Home Services, effective in 2026.
The company will continue serving customers throughout Tucson, Oro Valley, and Green Valley with the same team, ownership, and service standards that have defined the business for more than a decade.
Tailored Mechanical was founded in 2013 by owner Chris Plunkett, who started the company after observing that customer service standards across much of the Tucson market did not meet his expectations.
“What began as a technical service business evolved into something more personal,” said Plunkett. “Over time, the company became a reflection of how we work, what we believe, and the standards we hold ourselves to as a team. This name change is about putting our family name on the work we have already been doing.”
According to the company, the transition to Plunkett Home Services is not a change in operations, staffing, or service offerings, but a shift toward a name that better represents the company’s internal culture and long-term vision.
Plunkett Home Services emphasizes rigorous training, accountability, and a people-first philosophy, prioritizing team development as the foundation for consistent customer service.
