Arizona Boyz Towing & Transport, a family-owned Arizona towing company serving the Valley since 2000, has launched a new website as the company expands its heavy-duty and commercial towing operations.

The new ArizonaBoyzTowing.com gives fleet managers, contractors, trucking companies, local businesses and Arizona drivers a clearer look at the company's capabilities, including heavy-duty towing, commercial fleet towing, heavy equipment transportation and equipment recovery.

For a family that proudly describes itself as "old school," the website represents a modern step forward — and the next chapter of a business that started with one tow truck more than 25 years ago.

From One Tow Truck to a Family Business

In 2000, Kevin Reidhead wanted to start a trucking business. With help from family, he purchased what he could afford at the time: a tow truck.

Kevin and Mike Wright, whose wives are sisters, started what would become Arizona Boyz Towing & Transport. Wright came up with the name because the family behind the business was born and raised in Arizona, with roots in the state stretching back generations.

In the early days, Kevin scheduled towing calls around nap times for Sierra and Gunner while his wife, Yana, continued working for an insurance company. Their home became company headquarters, and diaper changes happened between towing calls.

Eventually, Yana left her insurance career to join Arizona Boyz full time.

Today, Yana owns 51% of the company and runs its office and dispatch operations, while Kevin manages the fleet and continues to drive. All six of their children — Sierra, Gunner, Wyatt, Coltt, Roper and Sky — grew up in the business.

"There were days when Kevin was running calls around nap times and changing diapers between tows while I was still working at the insurance company," said Yana Reidhead. "Now we look around and see our kids grown, working in the business and wanting to help build what comes next. We are proud of how far Arizona Boyz has come, but I'm probably most proud that we've been able to build it together as a family."

The Next Generation Goes Heavy-Duty

A major shift came when the Reidheads' sons returned home after serving missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and decided they wanted to help build the family business.

Kevin personally trained Gunner, Wyatt, Coltt and Roper to operate flatbeds and heavy wreckers with the same attention to detail and efficiency customers had come to expect from him. Kevin's brother Darryl, a driver with Arizona Boyz for more than 13 years, is also part of the towing operation.

"When it's all said and done, the family comes first," said Kevin Reidhead.

Arizona Boyz purchased its first heavy wrecker in 2022, opening a new chapter for the company.

Today, Arizona Boyz is expanding its heavy-duty and commercial capabilities for semi-trucks, commercial fleets, buses, motorhomes, heavy equipment and equipment recovery throughout Mesa and the Phoenix metro and East Valley, including Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and Queen Creek.

Future plans include additional heavy wreckers, more commercial partnerships, expanded service across Arizona and hiring as demand grows.

Old-School Service Meets a Modern Digital Home

As the heavy-duty side of Arizona Boyz grew, the Reidheads realized their online presence needed to grow with it.

Arizona Boyz partnered with Gilbert-based Diamond Arrow Digital Marketing to develop a website that better communicates the company's heavy-duty, commercial towing and transportation capabilities to fleet managers, contractors and Arizona businesses.

The new site is designed to become more than an online brochure, providing information about towing, heavy-duty recovery, equipment transportation and commercial fleet support.

For Arizona Boyz, the technology may be new, but the foundation isn't: The foundation is built on family, honesty, professional integrity and getting the job done right.
