Saratoga Chocolate Co., an independent, family-owned chocolate shop in downtown Saratoga Springs, has earned the No. 5 spot in USA TODAY's 2026 10Best Readers' Choice Awards for Best Chocolate Shop. The recognition marks the third consecutive year the local chocolatier has ranked among the nation's best, following a No. 3 placement in 2024 and No. 5 in 2025.

Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Allison and Hank Rose, Saratoga Chocolate Co. has grown into a recognized name in artisan chocolate while staying true to its family-owned roots. They specialize in handcrafted chocolate bars, barks, bonbons, and truffles, made with carefully selected ingredients and packaged by hand.
Beyond its signature confections, Saratoga Chocolate Co. has continued to expand its presence in downtown Saratoga Springs, recently introducing an expanded café experience inside the Saratoga Marketplace.
