Aerodynamic Truck Fairings Wins Top Honors

Aerofficient™, leading designers and manufacturers of aerodynamic enhancement devices for heavy-duty truck trailers, today announced at the American Trucking Association’s Annual Technology & Maintenance Council Meeting & Exhibition that it’s Aerofficient Side Skirts have received the prestigious “Top 20 Products of 2011” award presented by Heavy Duty Trucking magazine.

Recipients of the “Best of the Best New Products From 2011” award were selected from hundreds of products and services introduced to the commercial trucking industry between December 2010 and November 2011. The winners were chosen by the magazine’s editors, HDT 2011 Truck Fleet Innovators, and veteran fleet maintenance professionals.

The Top 20 recipients were judged on innovation, the ability to address top industry issues, and the potential to improve a fleet’s bottom line.

Aerofficient’s fairings are produced from an injection molded automotive-grade thermoplastic polyolefin material known for its high performance properties and ability to withstand thermal expansion and contraction caused by extremes of heat and cold.
