Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed Against Exxon Mobile

Houston-area injury law firm Sutliff & Stout, PLLC has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Exxon Mobile in response to a death last August.

Houston personal injury law firm Sutliff & Stout, PLLC filed a lawsuit in Harris County Probate Court on behalf of the family of a man who died after allegedly being attacked by an Exxon Mobile employee inside of a convenience store on August 1, 2011. The store, owned and operated by Exxon Mobile, is located at 5702 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77057.

The deceased, a former Harris County employee, was born in the Philippines and is survived by three children and his wife of 30 years. He moved to the United States 10 years ago to live the American dream with his family. He became a United States citizen in 2007.

The lawsuit alleges, among other things, negligence and seeks punitive damages against Exxon. The trial is set to occur in January 2013. The style of the lawsuit is: Cause No. 408329; In the Estate of Alfredo M. Pagayon, Deceased; In the Probate Court Number Two (2); Harris County, Texas.
