Auto Exotic & Lamborghini Festival, To Raise Funds For Memorial Hermann Hospital

Auto Exotic Rental, one of Houston's oldest exotic and luxury car rental agencies announced today that they will be cosponsoring, and attending the 2nd Annual Lamborghini Festival. This 3 day event will be held at the Houston City Centre, April 5-7, to help raise funds for Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.

The Lamborghini Festival was recently launched by the non-profit Edge Revolution, a charity group whose members come solely from automotive, aviation, and maritime industries. Its stated mission "is to create a revolution and bring a smile to children battling terminal diseases and to make their lives better until we one day find a cure."

The guest of honor at Lamborghini Festival 2013 is Valentino Balboni, the famed former chief test driver for the Italian carmaker. Lamborghini honored him at his 2009 retirement by naming some 250 limited edition Lamborghini Gallardos after him.

Multiple VIP charity parties will be held at Hotel Sorella - City Centre. Throughout these weekend events, the hosts and sponsors will raise funds to benefit children fighting with terminal diseases.

On Saturday, April 6, during the "track day" at the Houston MSR, attendees can watch these modern marvels close up, in high speed action.

"During MSR track day, and at other VIP parties listed on Lamborghini Festival's website, raffle tickets will be sold to raise funds [for Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital]. Eventually, two lucky winners get to drive our Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder around town-free of charge, and for an entire day!" said Nasser Edlibi, President of Auto Exotic Rental in a phone statement.

Auto Exotic Rental is celebrating Lamborghini's 50th birthday with the Italian carmaker this week. "We are honored to do this with Lamborghini for the ultimate good cause-to help bring attention and funding to the plight of children who are fighting with terminal diseases." said Edlibi.

On April 7, the Gallardo provided by Auto Exotic Rental, and some fifty other Lamborghinis will go on display at City Centre.
