Mackin Educational and Findway World Launch Catalist Digital Through Mackinvia

Mackin Educational Resources is pleased to announce its new distribution partnership with Findaway World, a leader in the audiobook industry and the maker of Playaway®, Playaway View®, and Catalist Digital™. With the partnership, Mackin becomes one of a select few distributors of Catalist Digital audiobooks in the nationwide K-12 school market.

Catalist Digital provides tremendous value by giving schools the ability to purchase only the titles they want without needing to pay for any annual subscription or for hosting fees. As a Catalist distributor, Mackin will offer Findaway World’s industry leading K-12 library of audiobook titles through the MackinVIA digital content management system. Titles will be available for purchase on Mackin.com.

Additionally, students have the opportunity to bookmark individual Catalist Digital audiobook titles into the “Favorites” feature of their MackinVIA Backpacks.

With audiobook usage up 13 percent in the last year, according to the Audio Publishers Association, Findaway has established itself as an audiobook leader, giving all students access to audiobooks—even if they don’t own a personal mobile device.
