Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation is proud to announce that on October 23, 2013 we will be releasing our new North Carolina Sponsorship Website focusing entirely on the Sponsor A Highway Program within the state of NC.

Current AHMC Sponsors that have been involved in the program include The Angus Barn, Cape Fear Community College, Agri Supply Co., Morgan Creek Capital Management, Asheboro Auto Mall, and Kaze Japanese Steakhouse. These sponsors deserve a very special thank you for not only seeing the potential in a program like this, but for marking their environmental footprint in their local communities to keep North Carolina’s roadways safe and looking beautiful.

To show our personal dedication to the program, we will be running promotions and specials throughout the month of October and November that will allow new sponsors to join the program at reduced fees. In addition to this, we will donate a portion of proceeds from each new sponsor to the North Carolina Conservation Network as well as the North Carolina Chapter of the Sierra Club.

The North Carolina Conservation Network is a statewide network of over 90 environmental, community, and environmental justice organizations focused on protecting North Carolina’s environment and public health. The NC Conservation Network supports, trains, and coordinates diverse groups and directly advocates achieving equitable and sustainable solutions for our environment.

The North Carolina Chapter of the Sierra Club is a local state chapter of the National Sierra Club environmental organization who has been working hard to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. The North Carolina Chapter has 13 local groups across the state that conduct activities to engage members and the general public in efforts to explore, enjoy, and protect our shared environment through outdoor hikes, service activities, community forums, and research efforts.

Keep an eye out over the next couple months for sponsor updates, news, and more!
