BARK SIDE - the newest collection from reSAWN TIMBER co. - features a compilation of six nature-inspired wood flooring and wall cladding designs in colors ranging from a crisp, snowy white to a dark, dusky gray. the name of the collection and the textured surface of the material was inspired by the horizontal ridges, known as lenticels, that are seen on the bark of species such as birch and black cherry.
the BARK SIDE designs are sustainably sourced, original cut white oak with a textured surface and are prefinished with our hardwax oil. the original cut incorporates plain sawn, rift sawn and quarter sawn grain patterns and all grades and character marks into the final product. in each design you will find common character marks including knots, checks, streaks and worm holes. our hardwax oil is natural, non-toxic and 100% VOC-free, and produces a durable, matte finish that respects the natural look and feel of the wood.
