Invisco Announces Round Cube Core Frame, Grille and Duct Collar Combination

HVAC professionals have been using rectangular and square sheet steel boxes with duct collars in homes for decades. Home owners and business owners are accustomed to seeing only square and rectangular frames and grilles on their ceiling.

Invisco Whole House Fan Company created a brand new product line of attractive ROUND glossy white frames that combine the best cube core grille and a mounting system that is fast and easy to install. It works perfectly under the FAMCO butterfly dampers used in the Invisco whole house fan systems.

In order to make this new frame useful for those who need only a duct collar, Invisco has combined the attractive cube core grille and frame with a duct collar for every standard duct size.

The best news? Now installers don't need to install a duct box first and a frame and grille next. Installing the new Invisco FGC (Frame Grille Collar) product is as simple as cutting the correct size hole in the ceiling, placing the attic side ring and collar on top of the hole (with the #6-32 rivet nuts ready for mounting screws), placing the 1/2 inch thick 1/2 by 1/2 inch cube core grille in the hole, and attaching the attractive frame under the ceiling to finish it all off.

Prices for these convenient products are just pennies more than the Invisco FG series frame and grille without the duct collar. Sizes range from small up to 36 inches diameter. Some standard sizes are in stock including 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 inch diameter. The diameter matches standard duct sizes and the frame is one inch smaller diameter inside and 3 inches larger outside diameter. As an example, the FGC12 has a 12 inch diameter cube core grille and the frame is 11 inches inside diameter and 15 inches outside diameter.
