San Diego, CA — In the rapidly expanding market for the Internet of Things, it can be a challenge sometimes to identify suppliers with market-leading solutions. Fortunately M2M (Machine-to-Machine) industry experts take the time occasionally to highlight key market innovators. M2M Evolution Magazine, a leading publication covering the machine to machine market, recently announced that Systech Corporation’s Systech SysLINK M2M Modular Gateway has received the 2014 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award.

The SysLINK M2M gateway enables remote access to a wide variety of sensors and devices for monitoring and control purposes. “The gateway supports most of the connection protocols you would associate with devices used in building automation, energy management, mHealth, surveillance, security, and point-of-sale applications” says Robert Lutz, Systech’s Director of Product Management. “An important feature for users is the modular platform that forms the basis of the gateway. It allows the customization the gateway to best fit any application along with the flexibility to grow as new requirements emerge.”

“The Product of the Year Award spotlights the innovators of the industry”, said Carl Ford, CEO & Community Developer, Crossfire Media. “Systech is one of those companies whose 30 plus years of experience is reflected brightly in their M2M product line”.

“It is my pleasure to recognize the SysLINK M2M gateway and Systech with the 2014 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “I look forward to seeing more innovation from Systech in the future.”

This achievement comes on the heels of previous recognition as a finalist in the M2M Challenge which was unveiled by title sponsors Ericsson and Swisscom at Mobile World Congress held earlier this year.
