The San Diego Venture Group (SDVG) has named NXT Robotics one of its 2015 Cool Companies. This designation is awarded annually to select companies that are considered to be investment-worthy San Diego-area startups.
“We are honored to be selected as one of San Diego’s Cool Companies,” said NXT Robotics Founder & CEO, Jeff Debrosse. “It recognizes both the value of our innovative platform and its appeal to investors at a time when the robotics market is on an upward trend.”
NXT Robotics’ technology benefits hotels that are attempting to lower operational costs while simultaneously keeping their service levels at existing or desired levels. “We are able to uniquely meet this challenge by enabling our robots to collaborate with each other and the sensors in their environments. This ability allows our systems to gain additional awareness and efficiently carry out their tasks throughout the day,” Jeff added.

NXT Robotics is one of 31 Cool Companies selected from more than 160 applicants to meet with dozens of Silicon Valley and LA VCs at a private event on July 21 at Petco Park before a game between the San Francisco Giants and the Padres.
The Cool Company recipients also win a date to display their products and services at SDVG’s Annual Venture Summit September 25 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, which promises to draw 700 attendees, including 100 VCs.
