1-800-CAR-WRECK to Sponsor 3rd Annual KappaGiving Turkey Drive in Fort Worth on November 14th
Fort Worth, Texas - The Fort Worth car accident injury law firm, Eberstein Witherite LLP, has pledged to provide support for the 3rd Annual KappaGiving Turkey Drive to be held on November 14th. In partnership with The Fort Worth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., K104.5 FM, The Fort Worth Black Police Association, Councilwoman Kelly Allen Gray, and LEH Consulting, the firm’s sponsorship will help provide 250 families with complete turkey dinners to prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday this year.
Hunger: A Critical Issue Among Many Fort Worth Families
Food insecurity is an issue that impacts 49 million Americans across the country. According to data from the United States Census Bureau, over an estimated 17 percent of people in Texas live below the poverty level. In the city of Fort Worth, the number is estimated to be more than 19 percent. Both are higher than the national average.

About the 3rd Annual KappaGiving Turkey Drive
The 3rd Annual KappaGiving Turkey Drive will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eastside Boys & Girls Clubs located at 4651 Ramey Avenue Fort Worth TX. The family friendly event will feature a host of community representatives who will assist with requests including:

Popular radio station K104 will also host a basketball game during the event between FWISD administrators and the Fort Worth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Thirty minute breakout sessions will also be held for parents and adults who wish to attend during the food drive. Members of the 1-800-CAR-WRECK team will be on hand to hand out swag.
