Former Microsoft Team Leader Tapped to Lead Regional Ad Sales Efforts
JENKINTOWN, PA - (Nov. 4, 2015) – Goodway Group, a managed services programmatic media firm serving hundreds of advertising agencies across North America, has announced the hiring of Microsoft’s Allen Afshar to serve as their Western U.S. regional sales director. He will be based in Seattle, Wash.
While working at Microsoft, Afshar spent over a decade as a leader in multiple ad sales channels and service capacities. Just prior to joining Goodway, Afshar headed a regional district on the Bing.com ad sales team, which targeted domestic and global partnerships. His specialty centers around launching creative display, mobile and search advertising campaigns across multiple business sectors including automotive, consumer goods, retail and technology. For his efforts, he was awarded with Microsoft’s prestigious Circle of Excellence honor—their highest level of sales recognition.
