The International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS), a non-profit organization, will host the world’s largest near-death conference via zoom on August 14-16, 2020. This event is open to the public and will offer over 50 sessions led by researchers, authors, educators, medical professionals, and near-death experiences. Sessions will occur simultaneously in four different rooms. Individuals who register for the live online conference will receive video access to the entire event for 90 days.
The conference theme is Unlocking the Healing Wisdom of Near-Death Experiences. It includes Covid-19 related sessions such as Healing Perspectives on Dying Alone, Grief and Loss: The Journey to Healing, NDE Wisdom in Medical Care and Beyond: Giving Hope in the COVID Era, and Life Lessons from the Dying. In addition, the event features a special 6-hour workshop led by six nurses on topics related to compassionate care and individual experiences.
