ABSTRACT
Chinese prices of imported manganese ore retreated on Wednesday due to the intensified energy restrictions among domestic silicomanganese smelters in China’s major production bases, Mysteel Global learned.
As of September 8, the price of South Africa-origin 36.5% grade Mn ore at North China’s Tianjin port was assessed by Mysteel at Yuan 34.12/dmtu ($5.3/dmtu) including the 13% VAT, lower by Yuan 0.4/dmtu on day after staying at Yuan 34.52/dmtu for the four previous working days.
