7. Add location pages to your dental website.

To rank higher in local dental SEO, add location pages to your website. These describe the areas near your practice from which you want to draw new patients. A location page sends a clear signal to Google, where your Google My Business (GMB) account should rank in the Google Map. For example, if you want to bring in patients from a specific part of town, write a location page about the area and add it to your website. You can get as detailed as you'd like, maybe even writing about specific neighborhoods.

When writing a location page, make sure the content is original. It’s a good practice to reference local businesses or attractions in your area and link to their web pages. Here’s an example of an excellent location page for a pediatric dentist in Colorado. This practice wants to let Google know that they serve the area of Eastlake, which is about seven minutes from their practice.

Additional tip: Notice the embedded Google Map at the bottom of the example location page. This sends a specific signal to Google about where the practice is in relation to Eastlake. This is a fantastic way to help rank in a particular area. One issue I’ve seen is that...
