BUXTON — The Maine Maple Producers Association has announced today that “Maine Maple Fall Fest” with be hosted on October 9-10. This event is a continuation of the Maine Maple Producers Weekend held in October 2020. “After our fall event kick-off last year, we are again opening our sugar houses to the public for Maine Maple Fall Fest. You will see some of the same activities that would normally be part of a traditional Maine Maple Sunday, just adapted to a non-production time of the year. Last year we were severely limited on gathering sizes by the State, so producers were forced to alter their events. This year producers are going to be working harder than ever to keep everyone safe while celebrating Maine Maple. Participating sugar houses can be located at mainemapleproducers.com,” said Scott Dunn, president of the MMPA.
With the current COVID-19 situation, producers are adjusting events with safety in mind. This event will be hosted with the Maine Fall Foliage as the backdrop.
