Warangal: On the occasion of the Police Martyrs Remembrance Day, which is also known as Flag Day, essay writing and photography competitions on police service will be held, Warangal Police Commissioner Dr Tarun Joshi said on Sunday.
In a press release here, Joshi said that essay competitions for students as well as competitions for photographers would be held to mark the day.
“Students from all the three categories (8 th to 10th- category 1, Intermediate- category 2 and Degree students-category 3) are required to participate in essay competitions on the topic “Role of Police in the Development of India” by participating the online competition through https://forms.gle/HvF8YAgewvyD3wjA9.
“The deadline for essay competitions is set for the 24th of this month,” the CP said and added that three photographs that were taken on subjects like ‘community policing’, ‘police response in times of emergencies’ and ‘police services in natural calamities’ from October 2020 to October 28, 2021 can apply for the completion through the link https://forms.gle/uJj58xXN1GQPNjp8A” The CP has urged the students to participate in huge numbers to make the event a success.
