ASUS is rumoured to be working on a successor to the ROG Flow X13, which was released earlier this year.

ASUS is rumoured to be working on a successor to the ROG Flow X13, which was released earlier this year. The ROG Flow X13 was introduced as a convertible laptop with a focus on gaming performance.

Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared images of the Asus ROG Flow Z13 on Twitter, and the device appears to be similar to the recently launched Microsoft Surface Pro 8. The Surface Pro 8 is a convertible tablet aimed at enterprise users who require a device that is both productive and easy to carry around.

If the Asus ROG Flow Z13 has similar specifications to the company’s Flow X13, we can make more educated guesses about what the device will offer once it is released. The ROG Flow X13 was introduced as a convertible laptop that could be connected to ASUS’ XG Mobile external graphics card (eGPU). It is a high-end notebook powered by AMD Ryzen processors.

Furthermore, the eGPU functions as a USB dock with multiple ports, transforming the convertible laptop into a full-fledged gaming PC. The Asus ROG Flow Z13 appears to be capable of being connected to an eGPU in a similar manner.

The Asus ROG Flow Z13 image was part of a series of leaks that also included the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 and ROG wireless earbuds.
