Pakistan government spokesman says one-month ceasefire with armed group could be possible extended.

Government spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said the Taliban government in Afghanistan helped the ceasefire between the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Forbidden outfit.
“The government of Pakistan and banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (Pakistani Taliban) have agreed on An complete ceasefire,” said Chaudhry in a statement on Monday.
According to the state broadcaster Pakistan Television (PTV), minister said the focus of the conversations were on “state sovereignty, national security, peace, social and economic stability in the areas concerned”.
In a statement, Pakistani Taliban spokesman Mohammad Khurasani confirmed the ceasefire to begin on Nov. 9. remain in place until December 9, when both sides will form a committee to continue discussions. He said both sides will abide by the ceasefire.
