Instagram Music is finally available in Pakistan, which allows users to add different types of music to their Instagram Stories. The Instagram Music has been available to users across the globe since 2018 for quite some time now, but the availability of the feature was delayed in Pakistan with users being greeted with the message “Instagram Music is not available in your region.”
However, the company has made Instagram Music available in Pakistan after acquiring the music license for this region, allowing users to add different soundtracks and tunes to their Instagram Stories from all over the world, almost 3 years after the feature was initially introduced by the photo and video-sharing platform.
“Now you can add a soundtrack to your story that fits any moment and helps you express how you’re feeling.” said Instagram in its original blog about the feature back in 2018. “Instagram Stories is now used by 400 million every day, and we’re excited to give our community new ways to feel closer to their friends and followers,”
How to use Instagram Music for Stories?
The process is fairly simple and all you have to do is tap to add a sticker to a photo or video in Stories, and you will be shown a music icon amongst the listed options. “Tap on it to open a library of thousands of songs — you can search for a specific song, browse by mood, genre or what’s popular and tap the play button to hear a preview.” explains the company. “When you’ve selected your song, you can fast-forward...
