An old video of US President Joe Biden explaining the process of regime change in Turkey dated back to 2020 has been making rounds on social media. The video has gained significance after PM Imran Khan has alleged that the USA was behind an orchestrated no-confidence motion to overthrow his government and bring a regime change in Pakistan.
Social media users say the video hold relevance since it is believed that the USA might have planned a regime change in Pakistan on a similar line. In the video, President Biden said that they will not plan to overthrow the government by revolution but by supporting elements that can overpower and control the government of President Erdogan in Turkey. He suggested bringing a change in Turkey through elections and voting. Biden said that he aims to disassociate the influence of President Erdogan from the region.

The opposition parties have challenged the dissolution of the National Assembly by President Arif Alvi on the recommendation of PM Imran Khan. Law experts believe that the government can show this video and other evidence it claims to have to support the application of Article 5 while rejecting the No Confidence Move by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.
