New Google Helpful Content Update To Change SEO Much Like Panda Did - Search Engine Roundtable

I don't know why... But I have a bad feeling about this update.

After reading what Barry has consolidated on the update's details, I have a few questions that I'm left wondering.

First of all, does that mean if a website has more affiliate/monetization content than informational it will be deemed as "content made primarily for search engine"?

Second, what about websites that cover several topics? Like, say, a small-time publisher's website that touches on beauty, women's health, and weight loss? Will these be flagged by their algorithm as 'unreliable as it's non-EAT compliant and content made primarily for search engine"?

Third, what about the people who became victims of plagiarism? Like competitors with high site metrics stealing content from others and posting it and they are outranking us. Will the update see this and rectify and give the victims their rightful rankings? Or will the update just reward these copycat content-stealing websites further while penalizing victims for "non-original content"?

That very phrase "more original, helpful content written by people, for people, rather than content made primarily for search engine traffic" is very vague and can make us wonder alot of things... Like is it hinting it will target AI-generated or rewritten content? Is it also hinting that their algorithm is now able to sniff out non-expert writers writing on a subject just for traffic?

Lastly, what if the algorithm is flawed and it mistakenly labels your website as poor...
