Whether it’s an official review on Google or an online account from the likes of TikTok or Instagram, the online opinion people have of your brand is going to directly impact your sales – regardless of any of your other marketing efforts.

Often, when people are searching for a business or service, one of the first things they will see is your business profile, and subsequently, your review rating. If these aren’t positive or numerous, then a potential customer is likely to pick somewhere with better reviews as they will feel they can trust the word of many more.
Your reviews also affect your SEO rankings. Google trusts the power of word of mouth marketing and, as such, factors in the quantity and quality of reviews to evaluate search positions. Google wants to deliver its users the best results in the fastest way possible and takes reviews as crowd sourced recommendations.
