As per sources, the Honda Hybrid SUVs will launch in India before Diwali 2023. The Hybrid SUVs will have a preference to launch above the Electric Vehicles also known as EVs by Honda. This came as an official update from Honda India President and CEO Takuya Tsumura.
Honda India will also launch an SUV in 2023 before the next festive season, especially Diwali. The cost of producing hybrids is lower and thus, easier to produce, especially in Japan. Honda, being a Japanese brand, has definitely looked up to this. He also added that it isn’t the right time for EVs yet. So until then, producing and selling hybrids is the best option for a brand such as Honda.
