Oaktree is an ambitious non-for-profit, with the mission of young people leading, demanding and creating a just world. Our volunteers are our biggest strength at Oaktree, so it’s incredibly important to efficiently recruit, train and maintain a strong volunteer base. As Oaktree’s Website Developer, you are responsible for supporting the marketing team and overseeing the development and redesign of Oaktree’s website to ensure that our website can easily, coherently and efficiently communicate Oaktree’s work in an engaging, innovative and meaningful way. In this role you will redesign the Oaktree website, emphasising our story and making the face of Oaktree user friendly. Through this, you will be able to utilise google SEO’s to increase the growth of Oaktree’s platform. You will have the freedom to creatively start conversations regarding justice, human rights, international development, climate change and more!
In this role you will:
Construct an efficient web page that our stakeholders and donors can navigate with ease.
Liaise with the graphic designer to ensure that our website reflects our branding, mission and vision.
Overseeing our SEO copywriting to ensure that Oaktree is easily found in google searches.
Track and analyse website traffic so that our message is effectively communicated and ensure the qualitative growth of Oaktree.
