Pakistan Banking Awards (PBA) 2022 was held in Karachi, Governor of State Bank of Pakistan Jameel Ahmad was the chief guest at the event. Several characteristics already exist in Pakistan that enables digital financial innovation and a tech-based financial environment.
These include a fully working digital ID system, ubiquitous mobile devices, penetration of mobile and broadband services, speedier payment rails, remote account opening, and a favorable legislative framework for non-bank organizations to enter the financial arena.
