Punjab Police on Dec 25 arrested two kingpins of trans-border narcotic smuggling cartel. 10 kg of heroin and one sophisticated drone were recovered from their possession. The arrested smugglers are residents of Gharinda in Amritsar and were active in the Amritsar region for the last three years and had no criminal cases registered against them. Earlier, BSF shot down a Pakistan drone in the Amritsar sector of Punjab on Dec 23.
