Weeks after its debut during the Super Bowl, Ram's compelling "Farmer" commercial is still generating buzz. The two-minute spot features revered radio broadcaster Paul Harvey's "So God Made a Farmer" speech and gritty photos of the men, women and children of agriculture, paying tribute to a hardworking segment of American society. Recently, the truck brand's commercial won first place in YouTube's viewer-chosen Ad Blitz 2013, beating out game-day commercials from Budweiser, Samsung and Hyundai.

With more than 18 million views on www.ramtrucks.com/keepplowing and www.youtube.com/ramtrucks as of Feb. 14, Ram's ad is one of the most popular commercials that aired during the Super Bowl. The brand promised to donate money to the National FFA Organization for each view of the video on its website, up to a total of $1 million, and it took less than one week to reach the required 10 million views to hit that sum.

"Ram's ad struck a chord with Americans in rural areas across the country who know the hardships and triumphs that come with being a farmer, as well as with anyone who appreciates the work that goes into making the food we tend to take for granted each day," said Scott Pinnette, general manager of Central Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, a Waterville, Maine Ram dealer. "Farmers and Ram trucks have been intertwined for decades, so it was great to see such an emotional tribute to the agricultural community during the Super Bowl."

Ram has also been actively involved in donating to charities through its Road to Ram Jam music series in recent months. This week, the brand is raising money by auctioning off a 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn that has been driven by country artist Billy Currington for the past year. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to Currington's charity of choice, Team Rubicon, which offers military veterans the ability to continue their service by teaming with first responders to help people afflicted by natural disasters.

Held on Dec. 29 in Nashville, the 2012 Ram Jam concert featured five popular country music acts, and all artists were given a one-year lease on a brand-new Ram 1500 leading up to the event. The trucks are now going to auction for charity, with each artist choosing the organization that the funds will support. Kellie Pickler's pickup, which was auctioned off in January, earned more than $36,000 for the USO Warrior and Family Care program, while Brantley Gilbert's truck raised more than $34,000 earlier this month for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Auctions will continue through March for the Ram 1500 models driven by the Zac Brown Band and Easton Corbin, benefitting Camp Southern Ground and the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, respectively.

"We're proud to be connected to a company that gives back to the remarkable people who make our nation strong, including farmers and veterans," added Pinnette. "Both at the national level and at the local level through our dealership, Ram is a brand that understands how important it is to support the charities that make our communities tighter, safer and healthier."
