Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Sentimental Greetings is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Sentimental Greetings is comprised of Tom Dockham and Peggy Ayers. An award winning and published photographer, Dockham, legally blind, captures the beauty of nature and wildlife in the everyday often developing relationships with his subjects that allow for rare and intimate wildlife portraits. Ayers, whose work hangs in public and private collections, also focuses on the complexities of nature.

Emphasizing beauty in moments, it was a natural progression for Dockham and Ayers, in 2012, to transition into greeting cards, allowing clients to capture a heartfelt moment on paper. Creating a memory, rather than a fleeting message, Dockham and Ayers provide a beautifully outlined canvas for clients to write their own heartfelt messages allowing them to become part of the artwork.

Upon the success of the greeting card service, Dockham and Ayers expanded into a “sentimental gift shoppe” named Sentimental Greetings & Gifts. Allowing clients an opportunity to purchase prints as well as meaningful art greeting cards, Sentimental Greetings and Gifts provide access to quality art for every budget.

In the Spring of 2013, Sentimental Greetings & Gifts was awarded as a "Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business" certificate by the Veterans Administration, and is recognized by the Federal Government in the SAM's program.

Sentimental Greetings is working with the VA-SCORE services, and the SBA, SBAM, and Kalamazoo Small Business Services.
