Cliff’s Pools & Patios is proud to support the Ghost Light Society Soriée.

This year’s fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Parker Playhouse. The fundraiser will benefit the Broward Center’s art-in-education programs, utilizing the arts as learning tools to help children achieve in school. The Ghost Light Society Soriée invites YOU to become a sponsor! Receive unique benefits and make an impact in our community. Sponsorship levels starts at $500; read the following for more details on bigger donations.

• $1,500 underwrites one Smart Stage Matinee Show for a class of 60 students with bus transportation and a Smart Stage Plus post-show activity.

• $2,000 pays for two teaching artists at $100 per day for 10 days to develop the Broward Center’s Play Scenes, an innovative new program that uses nursery rhymes, repetitive learning and original musical productions to develop early childhood learning skills.

• $5,000 secures a smart Stage Matinee Show for 590 students. The Smart Stage Matinee are literature-based shows that reinforce reading, science and math skills with productions that challenge students to learn.

• $10,000 provides 625 students who participated in the Broward Center’s Reading Readiness Program with 4–5 home library and holiday books. Reading Readiness is a multi-disciplinary program that prepares at-risk, four-year-old Head Start children to enter kindergarten ready to read by integrating live theater performances with classroom activities and parent workshops.
